We recently had a pool installed in December 2018. The team from Barrier were excellent. On time with every stage and informative. They fit us in over the busiest time of the year but did not compromise on quality. Admin team was prompt and friendly. The clean up crew were fab as well and very Educational. The quality of the pool has been top notch and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this company. Two of my friend have had Barrier Pools to and had the same excellent results from their pool install.

I purchased a barrier reef pool in Heatherbrae - near Sydney-from Warren & the team in September.I was seriously considering a concrete pool from elsewhere when costs were starting to blow out & I decided to look elsewhere & found Barrier Reef . I was delighted to be able to visit their magnificent showroom at Heatherbrae to see exactly what I was purchasing and my fears about a fibreglass pool quickly disappeared -Warren was extremely knowledgeable for every step of the way - installation very efficient and after just 1.5 days after the pool arrived I was swimming in my beautiful pool in early October .Any phone call I've made since to check on operating pumps etc have been answered very quickly . Thankyou Barrier reef pools and Warren and Mick - job very well done.

Frequently Asked Questions

It is difficult to give an exact price on a concrete pool without discussing your options and assessing the site. Concrete pools are durable and long-lasting. When cared for well, they can last for more than 40 years.

No, our experienced team can sit down with you to run through your ideas and they can offer advice on which styles and designs may complement your space best.

As concrete pools are built from scratch and often unique in their design, the time it takes to complete a concrete pool can differ. Typically speaking, a concrete pool takes anywhere from 3 to 6 months to complete.

You can customise a concrete pool down to the smallest detail whereas fibreglass pools are manufactured on a mould and offer limited choices and depths. You can only choose from their collection. Concrete pools can be as big, odd-shaped, small, or deep as you like which allows you to have complete control over the appearance of the pool. Unlike fibreglass pools, you can choose from different finishes on a concrete pool such as tiles or pebble.

First, the ground where your new pool will go is excavated. Next, steel bars are positioned on the walls and floor to make up the pool’s infrastructure. From here, the plumbing is installed. The concrete is then poured and spread across the steel bars to make up the pool shape, once dry, pool plaster is sprayed over the concrete. Your finish will then be laid.
